All of the clergy associated with Keys Wedding Clergy are ordained in regular course with a United States recognized religious organization, have at least an earned Master's level degree in Divinity or Theology, and are professionally connected to an established religious community (church, synagogue, mosque, fellowship, or like institution) in the Conch Republic.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
Your wedding day will be special to us.
- we will work with you to get to know the two of you, your dreams, your loves, your challenges, your needs, your wants
- we will provide you with resources and guidance so you can have the ceremony you desire and deserve
- we will be open to the special needs of your situation in relation to family, culture, personal circumstances
- we will honor your day by having your wedding being the only wedding scheduled for that day
- we are not the typical Key West "wedding mill"
- we will make ourselves available for photography after the ceremony (no rushing off to another wedding)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We will work with you to fulfill your responsibilities:
- for those seeking marriage recognized by the State of Florida:
- you will need to obtain a valid Florida Marriage License and present it before the Wedding
- provide two witnesses who will sign the license after the ceremony
- provide any special items needed in the service (e.g., wine cup, candles, etc.)
- for those seeking any other marriage:
- provide two witnesses who will sign the certificate after the ceremony
- provide any special items needed in the service (e.g., wine cup, candles, etc.)
- for those seeking to renew or celebrate a marriage already celebrated:
- provide a copy of the prior certificate of marriage before the ceremony
- provide two witnesses who will sign the certificate after the ceremony
- provide any special items needed in the service (e.g., wine cup, candles, etc.)
